The Housemaid by Freida McFadden

The Housemaid by Freida McFadden

Popcorn-Psych Thriller Mix

This psychological thriller perfectly pairs with a bucket of popcorn. It’s a captivating and binge-worthy read, even though some elements may not be entirely believable. The story follows Millie, an ex-con hired as a maid by Nina Winchester, a seemingly typical wealthy and demanding housewife who gradually reveals her craziness and slobbish tendencies.

Nina is married to Andy, a handsome and wealthy man who appears flawless in every way. Millie can’t fathom what Andy sees in Nina, and as she falls for him herself, the situation takes a crazy turn.

The majority of the narrative is from Millie’s viewpoint, but the second act offers insight into Nina and the reality of life in the Winchester household.

With unexpected twists, this engaging novel will appeal to fans of mystery and suspense, much like Lifetime movies. After reading it, I can proudly call myself a Freida Readah!
