Welcome to Bon-apptread
The Plan for this Year
Happy 2023 everyone So last year I promised you I would read and review 1 book and I manage to read 27! Yay me, right? That’s not really up to par if you know me at all. However, if you are new here let me tell you a little bit about me and what I do here at bon-apptread.com. I read review rate and repeat and I love every single minute. If there is a book that you think I must get my hands-on recommendations are always welcome. You might also get a poem or two since I have been writing poems since I can remember. I also review arcs so if you are an author and you want an honest in-depth review of your books, I am all in!
Now to tell you a little bit about the woman who pens these reviews.. I was born in Macedonia and moved to New Jersey at a very young age. I have an awesome family and my opinions are usually written on four wheels. I have Cerebral Palsy and when I am not reading, I am at the gym doing an intense work out while staying positive and nine times out of ten sarcastic. 2022 has been a year of improvements self-reflection and lots of time with my self. I hope that continues into 20023! I was able to keep off 25 pounds this year of the 26 I lost Go Me! I think part of why book totals this year were less than they should have been is because I am doing some kind of fitness class four out of the seven days. After 31 job interviews I am also working at a non profit that helps people with disabilities. My background is in psychology and I tend to internalize what I read on different levels and I have learned that I like to get inside not only the writers mind but my own when I review books. Why did they write the book the way they did? Why did I decide to read it? I am full of questions and each book has its own set of answers. My goal for this year is to try and enjoy every book that I pick up and not get caught on numbers. That being said I will be reading 21 book this coming year. I went back to having someone I love picking my book total this year. I will however be keeping it realistic so I can manage it all. In the process I hope to make some new friends within the community. Welcome and happy reading!
