Hesitation
I want to first thank NetGalley and all parties involved for my arc off this book. I finished it back in July and it has finally come time to write this review. First, I will say I am very hesitant to put my thoughts on paper with this read because it seems that many of the reviews were not well received by the publisher. I will say that my reviews are authentic and honest so I apologize if my opinions are not what you expected. The story surrounds the Baroness who is employed as a seduction expert in which she is employed to facilitate negotiations between cheating husbands and their flighty high society wives. In some cases, she also teaches young woman on how to capture the attention of the right man for a husband. What I liked about the story was that the way she went about this was so shady that it was comical and amusing. I also liked that the Baroness received the same type of treatment that she was dishing out because not only was her future mother in law a MONSTER-INLAW her future husband was a complete bore. I think in all honesty the story could have done with a few more chapters because it does come across a bit rushed in the end. I would say if this is your type of read then go out and get it. I personally have a hard time giving this book more then three stars because it needed a little more TLC for the reader to really sink their teeth into it. I believe that it is out in print but Amazon has a different release date for it. It looks like the publication date is May 27th of 2020.
